As the district prepares for schools to reopen for the 2020-2021 school year, there are three models that have been approved for students. You may review more information about each of these options below:

Please note that the Face to Face and LaunchED@Home option keeps your child’s registration connected to Wetherbee Elementary and instruction is provided by Wetherbee teachers.

Start Date: All enrolled students at Wetherbee will begin the 2020-2021 school year on August 10th virtually via LaunchEd@Home. Families that have selected Face-to-Face for their child will transition to that format on Friday, August 21st.
Teacher: We are in the process of matching teachers based on the model selected. Teachers will be reaching out to their students on Thursday, August 6th with information about our Virtual Meet the Teacher. Parents will also be able to see their child's schedule in Skyward Family Access starting on Friday, August 7th.
Devices: All K-5 students will be issued a device. Kindergarten and first grade students will receive iPads, and second through fifth grade students will receive laptop devices. We will begin passing out devices, car tags, and Grab & Go Lunch cards the week of August 3rd. Student devices are available to all students, and Face-to-Face students will be bringing the devices back and forth to school throughout the first semester. Students are able to use a personal device if they prefer. Please note that all kindergarten and first grade students need to come and pick up their consumable workbook items. Pick up times will be as follows:
- Tuesday, August 4th from 1:00-4:00 p.m- 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders
- Wednesday, August 5th from 1:00-4:00 p.m.- Kindergarten and 1st graders
- Thursday, August 6th from 1:00-4:00 p.m.- Pre-kindergarten and 2nd graders
We strongly recommend that families come during their scheduled block of time to help reduce the amount of people on campus. Please follow social distancing procedures when you arrive on campus. If you are not able to attend at your assigned time, we will have a make-up session on Friday, August 7th from 3:00-6:00 p.m.
